Under the Current PBIS system, and working with in that structure, this management structure serves to help students make responsible, respectful and safe choices. I believe in a warm and inclusive environment set up with respect for all cultures and backgrounds while supporting needs of individuals learning styles and diversities. Differentiation, meeting IEPs, and BIPs, 504s and more are critical for the success of each individual student. My goal is to help inspire students to want to think, apply themselves, grow and learn while having fun.
This classroom management model is for a general education classroom to be used for K-4th graders. Students would be informed of the general rule, then give specific examples of how to fill in not being distracting to themselves or others. Positive Attending and one on one correction would be my goal with a combination of some whole brain learning and classroom management as done in California.
